ICD section IX Faculty development program
The faculty development program for 2023 was kicked-off with breakfast meet up “Kapihan ng mag Guro ng ICD” (coffee with the teachers of ICD). ICD Section IX fellows who are faculty members from various dental schools met for a morning of discussion on dental education in the country and fellowship. This was led by President Maria Sheryl Villareal-Borja with Faculty development committee heads, Fellow Liza Centeno, Fellow Arvin Laguna and Fellow Ma. Cristina Guanio Garcia.
ICD Section IX Endodontic enhancement workshop
Part of the mission of section IX is to contribute to the development and enhancement of the practice of dental medicine in the country. This year President-elect Fellow Ida Viloria acting as the course director organized a 5-day endodontics enhancement workshop. The workshop had two batches which was participated by 41 local doctors of dental medicine.

First Quarter seminar
April 16, 2023 at the Midas Hotel, Pasay, Dr Rebecca Singson, a practicing OB GYN who pioneered the Gynecologic Robotic Surgery in the Philippines gave a talk on the state of the art technologies for women’s health.
